Daria Strokous is the femme fatale eternal, muse and earth goddess — except for the black lace, of course. Goddesses didn’t have black lace, although married women began veiling their faces in Sumerian culture, about 10,000 bc.
Mariano Vivanco, who captures sensual paradise as well as any photographer around, turns his lens on Daria and male model Vladimir Averyanov for Vogue Russia’s November 2011 issue. Fashion editor Katerina Mukhina chooses sleek beauties with lots of structure, to make a brief sensual style statement that speaks to the centuries.

Of course, Th Taylor is in the tradition of the erotic-glamourish-fashion style and is not totally relevant to the project of this blog, but actually this blog has no real project except maybe to screen various proposals around the way body is represented in photography, with a trend for unusual and introspective approaches, and also provocative ones. In the narrow style he belongs to, Th Taylor provides a refreshing imagery of female models in several of his cliches (no all unfortunately, but he has a life to live and some money to gain), some rare quality in the carnation and the truth of the skin. Moreover, his models have a wide variety of body shapes and their postures are often dynamics and spontaneous. His Model Mayhen site here.
